I am not sure, but being that it is Berlina, I would invest in a car cover.. One that is all weather, and the Honda OEM soft one. (I did this when I had my Berlina because of the salt and garbage on the road surface)

The OEM goes on first to keep car from getting scratched, then the all-weather one goes on top... Here is a pic

Yeah, you get up in the morning, brush odd the snow with your arm, put the covers in your trunk, and go about your business with a clean car. Come home, spray detail, recover car, and then you are good to go again.. .. Do you have winter tires?

id be more worried about the carbon fiber cracking due to the cold temperature. when i had cf hood and dtunk i kept them in the garage for the winter

I wouldn't worrk too much about the cold whether cracking the hood unless there are cracks already there that are pronounced and hold water. After all, aircraft components are made out of CF.

i agree with F1 but CAI V1 is notorious for sucking up water. i'd worry more about that. it will only cost you one pretty engine if it happens.

Your right because it sits very low at the rightside of the f.bumper.

Does any one has experience with the Spugen intake? or Comptech ?

I have the Comptech Ice Box CAI and there are a few things that have been engineered into the design to help safeguard against hydro-lock. But like with any intake (including stock) driving the car through a puddle deep enough to draw water into the system not only can cause hydro-lock, but will. Having cuts in your hood can also make the probability of water entering the intake more likely, but there are things that can be done to diminish the possibility.

Note: Dont drive yourself crazy.. If you have driven your car before in the rain, and parked it in the rain before, this is all probably moot.
