Your right because it sits very low at the rightside of the f.bumper.

Does any one has experience with the Spugen intake? or Comptech ?
I had the K&N FIPK that sat directly below my vents -- never had a problem with water in the largest of downpours...

I wouldn't worry about it

K&N FIPK is a short ram intake right?

My concern is that AEM CAI v1 sits very low under Passneger side Front Bumper

Does any one have aem cai v1 as well?

I was driving through a huge puddle on saturday I was at 295 exit on 27N S going towards Throngs Neck Bridge there was a puddle 6-7inch from the ground
I put it in to Neutral nothing happened.

what can fix my concern? build by pass?

they make a by pass valve for the aem cai.

i had one on my ap1 and i hydrolocked or almost did or whatver once i was getting off an exit in a storm on the hutch the puddle was huge with no way to avoid it. after a while your car just dosent move. went under the car and pulled the little ruber bung off the intake and water pulled out. you can do the same and the water you probobly wont suck in will just leak out
