But then again, for me to love that girl so much to give anything up, including the car, she should understand my passion for my vehicle and should not ever give me an ultimatum such as this.
Plus if you went through with it and sold it, imagine what life would be like if you married her. I work with a a few defeated and whipped married guys and they are pathetic!
Good topic Plankfarm!

The right girl wouldnt ask you to get rid of the car.
Bottom line is I like to drive and I love driving my car. To ask me to get rid of the car is to ask me to change the person I am and to give up something I enjoy.
i would like to think that someone who loves me wouldnt ask me to do that.
On the same hand I am single so what do I know.

the car stays.....
because once she realizes that you'll buckle for her and sell something you love, then she has you under her thumb. Next she'll start pulling out the "you can't hang out with them," "you should stop drinking," and "no more titty bar" lines, and if you disagree she'll always bring up the fact that you sold your car because of her. It's about control more than the car itself.
