I called della and they said they have never even done a valve adjustment before. So I'm kinda nervous about that. Has anybody taken anything to formula h motorworks in middletown, ny before.
I have heard that they do good work. If ellen can chime in she knows the owner. He has several antique honda.

Call Formula H. They will do the work to spec. They have a good reputation and can handle a valve adjustment. Ask for Tom Brown. Tom is a great guy and works in parts at FH. Tell him you are from the Upstate S2KI S2000 group and would like to set up an appointment to do a valve adjustment. Tom should be able to set you up with a qualified tech.

Ellen is not online as much so I am not sure she would see this thread to comment on it.

The other option for you is Billman in Long Island who is rated very highly.

Formula h only does Hondas, I have no first hand experience but I have not heard any bad things either.

Synapse motorsports in Glenville is honestly going to be your best place around for this work though, or any Honda dealer.

Thats the shop i was trying to think of. It seems like there use to be a list on here, but i couldn't seem to find it. I almost had them put my supercharger kit on, but i used a shop in buffalo instead.

they are good for some things and not for others, but for a valve retainer job i'd go there, just make sure Steve Andrews is the only one to touch your car.

They just never replaced the throwout bearing during that clutch change. The guy that was a problem was fired not shortly thereafter.

I forgot to mention Synapse. I'm so close to those guys too.
