Yes, loud, and boy do they like to complain.....
The problem Mom has is they come in to her feeding station and chase all the good little birds away, and eat like pigs
I'm making a hopper style feeder for cracked corn which the Jays love
The hope is they will take their activity to this feeder and leave the little birds alone
And by making it for cracked corn, the good little birds should stay at their feeding station close to the house where Mom loves to watch them
It sounds like a solid theory, but only time will tell....
