You guys are right. It does look like it's the size of the accord from the late 90's and early 2000's

Was in Upstate over the weekend. On the fixed boat dock, the joists holding the decking had dropped about 1 1/2 inches and the movement had pushed out the rim joist that they were nailed into. I cringed all summer! I could just see a kid tripping and doing a face plant on the floating dock.

Well, the water was still warm, so I got underneath and jacked up the joists to the right height, then with a sledge, knocked the rim joist back to position. Then used some joist hangers to better support the joists. Came out perfectly.

This fixed dock has been an annual headache ever since hurricane Irene lifted it out of the mud. The posts were about 5 feet down, and I could never get it anywhere near that deep - maybe only 1 foot if I'm lucky. It will never be the same. But with this last repair, I don't think I can blame Irene any longer.

The ice should be forming soon - a different annual winter worry.

I do about 4,000 miles per year on the S and I have no insurance whatsoever on the MGA. So when we were at the vintage festival, Aashish & I requested insurance quotes from Hagerty.

My total quote was $745, which is about $300 a year less that I am paying now on just the Honda. It looks like the Honda was $645 and the MGA was $100. But it also looks like the quote was for 3,500 miles, not 4,000. Not sure how HPDE's will be handled. They have a question that asks whether the Honda is used for such events.

^ Jeff that quote from Hagerty's is what I received for the S2000 as well. My current insurance for the full year through State Farm is much cheaper for me to make the switch. So I've decided to stay with them.

The lady from Hagerty's asked me if I tracked the S2000 and said that no track damage will be covered. I don't think your answer to the question will affect what they want to charge you. I like what they are offering. In other words of there is damage to the car to the point that the car is beyond redemption, they will pay you full insured value minus the deduxtible.

If I lived in a place where I can drive the car all year, then I'd have no hesitation in signing up with them.

So Facebook showed me some memories from this day during years past. Turns out six years ago, back in 2009 I attended the first Roadster Tour where I met several of you.

Quite a bit I've learned over the years and have found good friends. Happy and proud to belong to this community. Honda really built a great car. It brought so many people together

And to think if there was no S2000 this site wouldn't exist...just think of all the free time you'd have

^ Agreed. I'd probably be driving an entry-level 3 series and behaving like a tool (although I still am a tool at times).

News report tonight is that guy claims he has diplomatic immunity.

He also claims he wasn't speeding.
