Default ok, so I'm the newbee

Hello everybody!

ok, so I'm the newbee. have some cool stories I'll be relaying in the future. nothing special, just running fast, a few close calls, and one allittle too close, ok, so I rolled it, it sucked, but its fixed, moving on...

I own a blk/blk 2000 S2k. It has 16800 miles, bought it Jan 2000 in a weird trade with Holtz. I had a 99 Prelude SH, Holtz had screwed with it too many times to mention (14 instances in 12 months), a few calls to Honda corp. and nearly ending up in court, but they offered a brand new prelude (as a replacement) as a peace offering, so I just took the $ amount and used it toward an S. Its a long story, if anyone is interested I'll spend the time one of these days, but not today...

I've been looking at roll bars for a long time now... My main interest here is to be able to run at Watkins glen. I work at Xerox and my boss races at the Glen with his NSX. It's comptech super charged with all the bells and whistles. Sunday drives are fairly common but I'd like to get on the track with him... so he set me up with a few contacts, I even met an S2000 owner last Sept who had one, but I couldn't get enough info on it to follow through. We'll keep looking I guess.

Anyway, Glad to have found you guys. I'll be on from time to time, look forward to chatting with you....keep it real, off the gaurd rails, and definately right side up.....

drive it like you stole it

Are you interested in autocross also? It'd be nice to get a good collection of S2Ks going so we have a class of more than 2 or 3...

drvitlikustolit - Welcome!
This is great, Upstate just keeps getting bigger and bigger!
You and I should talk, I'm just getting ready to do a rollbar because I have replaced my CRX-Si of 10+ years with an '02 Spa due end of April. My CRX-Si has been my track car at Watkins Glen. I do my schools with GVC BMW CCA and am one off their instructors. The roll bar issue is such a pain in the but because what I want has to be a custom bar.

And one more post for the hell of it:
