Default Old Man Needs Help - a Ride for Parts

Old man needs Help!

I'm trying to "sell" - more like give away - some MG parts to a guy in Eden, New York, which is southwest of Buffalo. The parts are a differential "pumpkin" and a 10 gallon gas tank with mounting straps. I can probably squeeze the differential into the S when we go to the Glen in July, but clearly not the gas tank. So I have several requests for assistance in the transportation of these parts.

Is anyone from the Albany area heading to the Buffalo area (or to the Glen) with capacity to carry the items (SUV or truck) prior to our July 17-18 track dates?

Can someone with a truck and trailer (Greg?) take the parts when we go to the Glen in July?

I promise that there's nothing in it for you, but my ward, Disgruntled Publicus, promises not to lash out at you for a few weeks if you help. So that's a valuable card.

Thanks

Jeff,

I would gladly take your highly desirable parts to the Glen but let me tell you what the actual situation is right now.

The day before the SCDA Watkins event I will be at Thompson's racing the Majors. As you may know , Thompson's does not start racing until noon on Sunday which sets our schedule back by 4 hrs.

So to be in Watkins the next morning at 8 I will most like be driving my S2000 or my Celica and leaving the racing rig at home. Thats how it stands at this time, but everything is subjected to change.

Jeff - Shiv will likely be going back and forth to Boston. Send him a PM maybe. If you can get your parts up to Albany, I can give it to him.

Mr. Osprey I have been dormant for a few days so I missed this. I travel from my domicile in nearly Buffalo to Boston monthly for grad school. If the parts are in Albany I would be more than happy to commandeer a larger vehicle and transport them to the end destination for you

Shiv, they are not in Albany now, but I go past Aashish's house regularly and I suspect he would let me drop off there. I suspect Buffalo would be more convenient for the fellow from Eden. Let me get everything together in one place and take a photo, so you can see what we are dealing with. Give me a few days.

Thanks also Jake, you are currently the back up.

Jeff - he will be passing through here next week. If you want to get the parts up to me over the weekend I'll be sure to keep them dry.

Shiv & Aashish,

It's very unlikely that I can get the parts to Aashish's house this weekend.
