Thumbs up

Congratulations on the purchase Aashish. I actually can't believe you bought one of these cars as I figured you didn't like how they pass S2ks on the track. But its a great little car and should give you loads of fun. You'll have to bring it around next year.

Thanks Jeremy. Stock to stock the twins can't keep up with the S2000. But bigger tires and coilovers and they come alive. I was considering rolling the fenders on the S2000, but then this one came along.

Hoping it will be as reliable and as much as the S2000 on track. I still intend to drive the S2000 on track as and when I can.

That's great, it should be a little monster with good tires and coilovers. Make us proud man.

Congrats Aashish
I hope that you have many happy track miles to come!
Just because you have a fixed roof don't think that lets you off the hook on S/H/RB. You are still going fast enough that after upgrading the brakes those need to be items number 1/2/3 and really all together.
We want you around to keep us posting!

Thanks Paul. If this is the car I intend to keep, then S/H/RB will be coming to it. It was going to be the S2000, but I just couldn't bring myself to roll the fenders. For next season I will still be using both cars for track duty - maybe start with the S and then gradually moving on to using this more.

So far I am still getting used to how it drives. This one will get stored next weekend and I will pick it back up in the spring.

Looking forward to the great writing on your journey. For 2017 I am going to do more track days myself and get out there to explore as you have. I want to take the AP1 to Sebring, road Atlanta, etc. if you are ever in VIR or tracks in the southeast let me know-- I may join you.

sounds good Helio and thanks. In addition to NASA in your region also run as much as you can with Chin Motorsports. They are the best private track day organization I've ever run with. They are Florida based too.

Alas, I don't think VIR allows the stock S2000.

Helio, I may be going to VIR in early April for the vintage racing. I just love to see a S parked on the hill overlooking Turns 3-4.

Gotta look into Chin. We are now seeing if we can make Sebring with NASA in early Jan.

Nice! You may find me on Turn 3-4 giving a waive.

Hi A2: what's new with the Subaru? Btw, just finished my first event with NASA at Sebring. Drove my AP1 and had a blast. Now I am thinking about what other tacks may do in the southeast. I hear barber is very good.
