Season is ending - What plans do you have?
It was a foggy and then rainy and an overcast day with no sunshine. Its been that way for the past few days and I started thinking that it is time to pickle the S2000 for storage.
I do have some plans before storing it though - with an autocross event mid-October and a track day on the 27th. Come November 1st, I will either have packed the car away or at least have it ready to pickle at a moments notice.
I do plan on changing the oil before storage and I definitely will get a few coats of wax and some detailing done too. It has been a great season and although I have not put on as many miles in the seasons past, every time I've been in the car I've had a lot of fun.
There were all the drives I attended this year except Knapp, and I also did a full autocross schedule that started with me going to Rochester for the FLR region school. The car also saw snow for the first (and hopefully last) time this season when Jeff and I attended the NASA event at Lime Rock Park in late March.
What about you? What special moments have you had in the S2000? When do you plan to store it? I remain optimistic and hopeful that we will have a short winter for I enjoyed the car so much that I will surely experience bad signs of withdrawal when the snow is on the ground.

I'm a frog hair under 30K miles. Determined to get the last 4-500 in.
Been working on the basement and taking trips to dump/recycle center. Progress.
Family pictures and correspondence have been taking up time.

McWheel and I took cycles down to Foxwoods years ago. Met a crazy guy who's wife was a stripper, and he invited us to come watch her while he cheered her during her brass pole performance. It was awkward, yet funny...

I'm at 52,000 miles exactly and that is where she will stay for the remainder of the season. Over the winter there will be some big changes, however. Coilovers, exhaust, and a new set of wheels will be my winter project. Of course I will be detailing her on a daily basis

Winter mod plans:
Simple stuff...
-Over the hump floor mats,
-Either Aut cooling plate, or a scoop to go with the PRM w/KN box,
-Modifry shift beeper,
-iPhone interface of some sort,
-JDM type S badging on the winged trunklid.
More complicated / expensive...
-Veilside tonneau cover modified to work with the Hard dog bar,
-Ohlins or KWV3 / front sway (probably next year as the NSX will eat cash with the engine out maintenance),
-VGS steering wheel adapted,
-Braided lines and pads with just a little more bite.
We'll see if I do any of it
