Still breaking in the CTR. I think I'm around 530 miles or so, and Honda claims full break in at 600, so still a bit to go.
Last time I drove it was Monday. Tuesday's vaccine after effects waylaid me. Wednesday & Thursday it snowed (the car comes with summer tires, so that's a no-go), and now I'm waiting for the rain tonight to wash off whatever salt was put down on the roads.
Maybe Monday I'll finally be able to give it a proper review.

Went north to L.P.
For the first time there is a pair of eagles nesting on the south side of the pond, but visible from the causeway with binoculars. Flew buy the camp a few times. The loons were very active and noisy today, maybe having sexual display, so perhaps baby loons in our future. And something in the tree took a bigish bird, judging from size of feathers - perhaps a falcon of some sort. Two red squirrels in the yard and a couple of brazen mice still sharing the cabin.

I had the Pfizer vaccine, and my understanding is that the 1st dose of the Pfizer is mild (arm soreness, stiffness, and bruising for a couple of days), and the 2nd dose will waylay you.
I've heard the 1st dose of the Moderna is a bit more intense with the side effects than the Pfizer, but the 2nd isn't as bad.

i guess i had a bruise both days. but its a deep muscle shot, like tetanus shots. so that was expected.

A fellow named James Bailey from Danvers, Massachusetts is signed up for the VSCCA driver's school with an S2000. It looks like his dad drives a Lotus 7, as there is also a senior Bailey signed up. .

Not sure where you are located Mike, but the roads through the Champlain Valley and the High Peaks are pretty nice. Tracy Road is supposed to be closed this season, but Ensign Pond Road (Port Henry) and Hurricane Mountain Road (Keene) are fun. Even Route 22 up there is nice, although not a "twisty". There is a road around the back side of Mount Marcy (take the last right on the Mt Marcy Highway just before the toll booth and the road eventually comes to Saranac Lake if you bear left a few times)
Check the Metro forum. MindtheGap has a meet centered at Lake George planned for Memorial Day Weekend. 8th annaul LAKE GEORGE TRIP memorial day weekend - S2KI Honda S2000 Forums
Oh, and despite what you might hear from the former News Editor or other miscreants on these boards, take it from my friend Disgruntled Publicus: "Berlina Black is the best S2000 color!"
