I take it as a good omen when I see an S, especially when doing something important (Lease signed today).

Spotted a Suzuka on 87 North between exits 20 and 21 (Catskills), could not see the driver - top was up.

Was close to 60 and pretty nice today - and I only saw ONE convertible with top down...

take note boys - it was a WOMAN DRIVER

Mine was out yesterday. I made a run to the local carwash, and then a mad dash to Lake Luzurne and back. (I think this is the last week with the S, it needs to be put to bed.)

*Warning! Semi-long story ahead*

Yesterday I went to the local Best Buy after work to grab a few items. On my way in I noticed a nice-looking Berlina S2000, it had a front lip, spoiler, and a hard top. Looked very nice.

Purchased my items, and I was on my way out admiring the BB S2K when I saw someone approaching it and putting some stuff in the trunk. I ran over to talk to him. Boy was he ever a great guy!

Turns out I hadn't quite put 2 and 2 together when I first looked at it - it was a CR model, the first I'd really gotten a chance to look at close up. He told me about a few of the changes in the car, mostly how the suspension is much stiffer. He then offered to take me out for a run in it to feel the difference! I got to see the peak power indicator light on the dash in action (gimmick, but oh so cool).

I told him about the forums, so hopefully we'll have another member on here. The CR was just a baby - he said he picked it up in August and went all the way to Cleveland to get it. It only had 1200 miles on it!

This is why I love being an S2000 owner

Cliff notes: Marc sees a new CR, talks to the owner, goes for a ride. Happy times ensue.

Take a spin to Bul Automotive on Fuller Road in Colonie - he has two Cambio Corsa's on the lot, in good condition and very reasonably priced, but I still wouldn't trade my S2000 for either of those ugly things - and it would be a near straight trade! That era of Maserati just doesn't flow, offers poor performance for the dollar and are stupid expensive to maintain, their resale value reflects these facts.

That's a bit of a drive now Actually it was before too

I picked up a friend at the Mazda dealer today and they had some neat older cars on the lot.

Got a few stares from some "6" drivers

Damn, I was all over town today - no one saw me
