I checked the main website, these are franchises so each local is an independent operator. I believe the quality of workmanship will depend on the skills and dedication of that local owner. I was thinking of them for repair of curb rash and scratches when I posted this. I don't know that I would trust a bent wheel repair to anyone ( just my opinion). I know it's costly but I'd go for a new wheel every time in that situation. I often drive at very high speeds and want perfect equipment. That being said I believe the right thing to do was to refund all charges completely.

I'm with you and I'm sure that if the damage was more than a slightly bent lip, Ken wouldn't take a chance on a fix either.

The franchise nature of the business also a good point. Maybe he was dealing with an outfit from South Philly who also own a concrete plant and take frequent late night trips to the Jersey meadowlands.

I know a guy who owns M-R Wheel repair, he does it on the side so he's much cheaper then these guys with trucks that run around town.
