Red face 2011 Baseball Season

so just over 1 week to go before pitchers and catchers report to AZ and FL.

i think the mets will be terrible again and the yankees will have a tough time getting past boston and maybe even tampa bay. philly is going to be sick this yr. cant forget about the giants and their awesome pitching staff.

there are some good stories this yr. will the cards lock up pujols for the rest of his career or let him become a free agent? will the red sox moves pay off? will the phillies pitching be as dominate as they look on paper? how will the brewers do with their offseason moves? will the wilpons sell the mets? (please)

i always look forward to baseball because it is my favorite sport. at least there are some good teams out there, even it if isnt the team that i root for.

Yeah I see solid competition this year...but like you said...maybe not the team that I root for.
Look what Boston did last year with the b-list. With the moves they made in the off-season, continued strong management, and many of those b-list guys are returning with great experience they got last year, I see them in the Series along with Philly or San Fran.
What the bloody **** have the Yanks been doing this off season other than wanking in their offices? Steinbrenner might be rolling in his grave with all the missed opportunities. Now the problem is made even worse by Pettitte announcing and the fact that AJ could still be a piece of shit. And let's not forget Jeter isn't hitting and fielding like he used to (although he's still pretty darn good).

have faith in my yankees
I think andruw jonez will do well, he has no choice
he is really gonna have to make some plays,

cLee would of been nice but we need a young pitcher Sandman is old
I am afraid his arm will fall off.
the mets will choke
with all the franchise issue they are having doesnt play well.
I agree Philly will be strong !

The Mets beat the Phillies?? wow! I am trying to follow baseball more and this is a great win. All I heard this morning on the TV and radio was how the crowd out of nowhere started to chant USA. Damn that would have been a great time to be at the ball park.

yea they won 1 out of 3, but last night was a good one to win. the chants of usa were awesome. phillies and mets fans united for the same chant. that has never happened before.
