Im using a old 5-speed bike from the 70s. I found it while cleaning up the shed. I have to post a photo. Its not fancy, I just use it to get rid of fat. My bike route consists of going around the block a couple of times. I just started riding this past weekend. The last time I rode a bike before that was when I was 10yrs old.

I'm down to do rides man... anything to get me away from local roads. Actually, myself and the guys I ride with go up to Harriman State Park sometimes and we do a 15-mile loop 2 or 3 times. It's a very nice scenic ride with a really long downhill in which we can reach upwards of 50 mph. The only thing that sucks is that it is a long uphill going back to the top... haha... but fun nonetheless.

Keep it up man... then you'll upgrade with a new bike and really get into it. I tell ya... it really is addicting once you get into it. Hard to explain.

I'm definitely down for some riding. This weekend is shot, but maybe we could all do a ride the weekend after this. If people are interested in hitting up some of the roads by my house i have a 50 mile route that has about 5k feet of climbing. If distance is an issue we could move further towards the city.

They should have auto-x for bikes. I guess downhill racing is the equivalent.
