For the record I was not kidding. PacMan FTW!!!!! I need to take breaks for days to let the gamers thumb heal lol
What are the specs of your new pc? I don't have time or funds to build a monster PC but still want to eventually for the hell of it. I was going last night to TigerDirect store to pick up a memory card and turns out these mofos closed all but one or two stores. They must have had insane clearance sales and I MISSED IT!

I built PC's for YEARS. many liquid cooling systems over clocking ECT. its been 5+ years since I have done it.
im surprised you put the power supply on the bottom they pump out alot of heat that raises up past the GPU and CPU.
I see the top of the case is open to allow air to be pushed out, but does your cpu fan push up or pull down?
the back fan if its a pusher would keep the hot air in the case (unless its a puller which would be dope)
I miss building PC's, but since I dont heavy game on them anymore its not worth it. Been running alienware laptop since 2012 and its been able to handle most games still on max specs
edit:
wireing looks to knotch good job HEZ

The fan on the heat sink pushes up and i have removed the exhaust fan in the rear. i only have one 140mm intake fan running. I have another just in case but so far ive been monitoring my temps and the rig stay very cool since i do not do any OC'ing right now. while the system is running i have only seen 37-42c temps max.
Also with my old rig I have decided to make an HTPC out of it. Its overkill for an HTPC but it will be serving as a NAS/HTPC/lightgaming/workstation. Im using XBMC/KODI and will install Plex later on once I populate the library.
Intel Cor 2 Duo ( lol yeah its old but it runs well )
Its got an XFX 750 atx mobo
4gb of Ram
2x GTX 460 running SLI
Kingston 120gb SSD as a boot ssd with Win 7 64 bit running
Seagate 3TB HDD for mass storage
Antec High Gamer 850 PSU ( one pictured above )
in a Antec One 25 case.
still deciding on which external Blu Ray writer. I chose to keep it in a PC case rather than an HTPC case due to the space available for expanding storage.
Ill get some pictures of both tonight.

That's a nice pc you got there. Was hoping for better deals on Amazon Prime day but what thoroughly disappointed
Guess the new phone and pc parts will wait ...

I actually just took a $10 gamble on a USED Core 2 duo processor from an Amazon seller. It was a nice upgrade from a P4. I had it for months and finally got around to installing it over the weekend and updating the OS from XP to Win10. I am trying to squeeze all I can get out of my old Shuttle XPC barebone that I built YEARS ago lol So far that little thing is running like a champ still.
I have been running it an old x61 thinkpad running core 2 duo @ 1.6ghz, 4gb ram (2.99 usable), 32bit on a standard HDD. Here are my first impressions since I haven't dedicated too much time to it with software installs.
Boot up time is cut in less than half. This thing was running xp than 7 at one point. Both took ages to even prompt my log in screen.
Overall OS navigation is pretty snappy but at times jittery and freezes for a couple of seconds. It might seem like an eternity because I am used to my other newer Core i5 with SSD being super instant type of fast response.
Default install loads a ton of crap into your Start Menu which is now a mix of Win7 and 8 blended together. Tiles are gone from being in front of you all the time to know part of the Start menu. I disabled and unpinned a lot of the tiles since I know they are constantly sucking up bandwidth and that is not good for my pron watching lol jk ... ok maybe not...
All in all I can't wait for Win10. For the first time ever, I am actually planning to BUY the software to install in my older PCs. It is marketed as a cross platform/device OS that will look the same no matter what you are using- Tablet, Laptop, phone, toaster, ...
More feedback to come once I actually start installing applications. I am curious to see how it handles things then. Going to download.com to try things like Audacity and PDF converters.
lastly, I expect it to run even better on my Shuttle XPC since it has 8gigs of ram. Truth be told I keep all these old PCs just to store and organize music. The Shuttle will make a great home media library music station. I don't really do high end audio restoration anymore or high quantity batch conversions so that was when processing power was needed. It's basically just a monster MP3 player using my favorite- Windows Media Player.
