I used the "new" one about 4 or 5 times now. I love shaving now. I look forward to it. Unfortunately I can't shave everyday (my hair doesn't grow back that fast) unless I want smooth skin everyday but every 3 days is perfect. I used to go longer because it felt like a chore but it's fun using a badger brush to apply shaving cream on my face.

I'm not like some of the guys who lather in a bowl and then apply it. I just apply it to my face and lather it on there. Some shaving creams are better than others in that regard. The one I have you can apply with a brush or without and I find it easier to apply it with the brush (the brush also acts as an exfoliant!). You only need a little. I see this 5oz tub lasting well over a year and I am kind of disappointed because there are sooo many yet I want to try!

but if the Gillette Fusion is working for you, I'd stick with it. I used to get razor burn so I wanted to get something else. The razor burn could have also have been that the shaving cream wasn't lubricating well ... I don't know since I switched both products at the same time and don't care to find out!
