My friend is following his dream and opened up his own Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Queens with his friend a few months ago. I was there last night taking some promo photos for their new website (I was doing this as a favor). If you guys are looking for a school in Queens (Forest Hills) area and want to train in a chill, a bit more laid back, but still good intense training environment, check them out. They're adding boxing to their mix too and I think if you want to give it a try, you can do it for free this Thursday at 7:30pm

i see a lot of SOCA patches on the gi's are the affiliated with Joe? that's probably why i see a lot of familiar faces

 

I think they are. I know they compete together.
