No, it doesn't go away. You just get distracted sometimes but you eventually get the itch back to mod.
This week I did the following:
Apply QuietCar coating on the trunk and floorboards
Installed Alpine headunit and 2 amps.
Next week:
I will attempt to make a subwoofer box to house an Alpine type-E sub.
Do the ABS delete... if I have time left after the above.
This is on top of my ongoing wire tucking the engine bay. It just never ends, man.

this is the first car i havent modded. i was heavily invested in my last car and am try to keep myself from burning my wallet up with this car. it helps when i have so many other expenses and goals to keep my mind and wallet distracted

There is hope over the horizon, I think I'm actually satisfied at where I am right now and don't plan on doing anything in the future (other then drag radials) with the s2000.

Worst thing you did was join this site...
When i got this car i thought it was great, than you go to meets and you find yourself parking waay away from everyone as it's so emarasing being stock.
Driving back from Boston yesterday i saw a new Z4, thought wow great car but if that guy joined up on soething as intense os S2KI he would never be happy stock.
