You should expand your search to the tristate area or further, its not uncommon to do so when looking for an S2k, or any somewhat rare car. You might be missing out on some good deals.

I went 2 hours to Connecticut to get mine.

Your missing out if you don't buy stage 1's car, the yellow will grow on you but the car is immaculate and priced cheaply. If i didn't already have the same car i would buy his.

Trying to avoid the hassle but if a good deal exists, then I'll find it

Expanded search area to tri-state.

Saw a white one today, sexy color Too bad the dealer thinks they can get 18k for a 2005 with 43k miles on it just as the snow begins to fall.

^ agreed. If you're looking for a convertible in the northeast, during winter, you might not have your pick. Had to go to Cali to get mine...

I would expand your range to at least 2-300 miles. I went all the way to Raynham, MA right near Providence to get my S2K. The drive back from wherever you buy it will seem really short because you'll be getting to know the car.

Yea the search has expanded so I'm willing to travel a bit to find a good deal. Very difficult to find one unmolested though.
