Im looking to get a laptop. It doesnt have to be anything fancy. I would like it to be relatively new. Must have wireless. Basically need it for surfing the web when i am away from home. Not looking to spend a fortune. Let me know what you have. Best way is to PM me since i am not on my computer much since i am not home much. Which is why i need a laptop.

 

Why dont you go onto dell.com and enter their outlet. You can get a Mini 9 or Mini 10 relatively cheap depending on what options you want and its practically new.

i picked up a relatively good laptop at the time off of ebay for about 200-300 dollars. Since then the netbooks have really become popular. The benefit of the netbook is you have much better battery life than the used "fast" laptops of a few years ago.

Both will do internet browsing and light load software pretty well. Check slickdeals.net and the deals section of www.hardocp.com. Both are invaluable in finding great deals on items. Both will not replace a regular computer if you, like me, likes to have 20 websites open and multiple programs running. The Intel Atom processors work on the older netburst architecture and don't do multitasking too well.
