I will always be a Ranger but I been having fun as Special Forces last few years.

 

I'm in Germany right now, headed to afghanistan in the november time frame. I've been kicking around the idea of dropping an 18 packet, but just haven't made up my mind, I don't know what you do, but for officers, we really only have one chance to go the sf route. Once we've gone to the captains career course we are set where we are, I've got about a year to make up my mind, I'm not physically worried, or the least bit worried about SUT or Robbins, my tlp's are straight and I wail through OO's, I'm just not certain I want the lifestyle. We're already workaholics in the 11A world and I imagine it only gets worse as an 18A.

 

its a deferent world. I'm a former Infantry Branch and a officer as well. Many was confident as you and did not make it but If you decide to take the path then good luck.
