Sadly I just reclassed to Supply so no more blowing stuff up. Thankfully I will now be doing something that will help me whenever I get out.

This Vietnam Era Army Veteran weighs in here with the comment:
As one that was spat upon, and called a "baby killer" for being in uniform in the summer of 1970 at the Port of Authority Terminal in NYC while on a weekend pass to visit my family I am SO HAPPY that the attitude towards the military has changed over the years.
As the saying goes: "If you are NOT willing to stand behind our troops, feel free to stand in front of them."
If one has any doubt about the commitment of our volunteer force read the book entitled: "The Outpost" by Jake Tapper.
BTW, now that I am retired (unemployed) I drive a limo to make "pocket money" and on Tuesday I am driving for an Re-Patriotnization of 1LT Richard Dyer that is being laid to rest at Arlington National Cemetery on Tuesday. He became an MIA on 30 June 1970. Welcome Home. RIP
