Depends what shop i am in, In England until June when I psc back to the us but I am one deep and do GIS mapping/surveying for 2 bases plus other engineering type duties
Been to Saudi Twice 97 days and like 192 days, Qatar for 98 and just got back from Afghanistan in Jan 08 was only gone like 75 days.

Just got back from Iraq after 220 days.

Im supposed to be going to the 552 at tinker as the CE/EA over there but heard the slot is gone in June 2009 but ACC is telling me they dont see that but the 552 manning guy is telling me so

so waiting to see where im going

how did you like Tinker?

 

There's a large civilian contigent, expect to have to deal with that - for better or worse (usually worse, civilians practically get away with murder on base)

I didn't mind working in the 552, but we all know that given personnel changes over the past 4-5 years, there's no telling how it is now.

As far as the OKC area... I grew up 45 mins south of Tinker. I'm not a big fan of OKC, but it's all in what you're interested in
