My son was just complaining about Bond driving a BMW. I'll tell him when he gets home from work and he'll be so happy.

It's bloody well time! Heresy to have Bond driving a German marque. I'm also delighted that there will be an XKR in the flick, although not the beautiful coupe like my black one. (The convertible's okay, but I already had a convertible--the s2k.)

Finally there is justice in this world.
The real James Bond would NEVER have driven a German tin can

A little off topic, but did you know that the Z8 he drove in the last Bond flick actually had a Chevy V8 in it? Development on the motor wasn't finished in time for the flick so they used a chassis prototype for the moving shots - hence why you never saw the car do anything except move in a straight line - too valuable to break.

I want to see a real honest to goodness car chase in the new Bond flick like those in the days of old.
