Look at it, it looks like a two door mini mini van. I have driven Hondas for a while and have loved the Si cars they produced. I had a CRX Si and was going to by a 2000 Civic Si, decided to wait and get the S2000, which I thought was a great sports coupe. This car maybe fast and handle great, but I do not like the looks of it.

The dash looks like a mini van dash with a manuel stick shift in the center.



The car looks a lot like the Odyssey to me, Maybe it is a Odyssey Si Coupe

I think it looks pretty nasty too. The Si coupes from 99-00 are much better, IMO.

 

Sorta resembles a Focus coupe, and the kids are going crazy over that one, so Honda prolly has another "hit" on it's hands. Not for me though.

 

I am glad that I am not the only one. I am sure this will be good car just an ugly one.

its always like that...Honda comes out with something different, maybe even controversial, and in the end, everyone loves it, they sell like hotcakes, and there's all sorts of mods for it, etc., etc.

I remember when the 3rd generation integras came out with the round projector headlights. people where running to the can to puke. But now its no biggie.

I must admit, however, that the placement of the shifter is not going to grow on me.

 

The hood line is too short and windshield too upright to give it a mini-van look rather than a sporty look. Hopefully they will redesign it in four years. This car is European design and I guess this look is in with the pocket rocket cars in Europe.

That Si body is the same body used for the New Civic Type Rs in Japan.

The new Civic Type Rs are supposed to be pretty damn quick and handles really well. 200 HP
