I'm glad Honda came to their senses and offered up a manual in the new CL. I test drove the previous version with a 5-speed (albeit with the 2.3L 4cyl) and it didn't offer much to the enthusiast. The 3.2/6X combo should be awesome. A definite possibility when it comes time to retire my old Prelude.

But it's going to be a heavy and not very well balanced FWD car... We'll see.

Like I said on the other thread about this, I'm happy to see the 6spd in but the design of the car doesn't seem to have an identity. Because when you show the CL
to someone who never saw it, he won't think it's an ACura. So I think that next step
for Acura is to give it a facelift... Just my 2 cents.
today's my birthday!

I've driven a type s and it definetly needed a stick, just like is300 did. Definetly a smart move.

I wish my MDX had a Type S suspension tuning and a 6 speed manual also!

I agree with some of the other post. Acura just has really be left behind in the design department. The car is way too generic looking. Heck, it just looks like a Camry, Maxima, Lexus, Infiniti, and course the Accord and everything else in that price range. Too bland. Boring. The old Legend had more style back in the 80's. They need to get the boys out of the NSX and S2000 garage and get some help with these sedans. Lexus and Infiniti are eating their lunch in this department, now Jag is coming down for bite too.
