Today,

I watch my profile life counter rollover to year #5. I was just thinking what have I accomplished in that time span and what things I've experienced...

In 5 years:

- I completed almost 2 bachelors degrees

- Aquired the car of my college dreams.

- Was an automotive engineer for one of the largest domestic aftermarket performance companies.

- spent most of my free time at this forum, learning, growing and bs'ing

Hmm... I shudder to think of how little I've done in the last 5 years. I've got two words for it: "Groundhog Day."

 

5 years ago, I was still a twenty-something

 

5 years ago I was getting ready to go to college. Wow.

 

^Ditto. 5 years ago I was about one month away from starting college... time flies by entirely too fast

 

I remember reading somewhere that life is a series of 5-year journeys. Interesting perspective.
