I worked at my previous place of employment for 22% of my life.

Felt weird leaving knowing I had put in that much time.

Just thought of that after reading your thread title.

 

5 years ago I was just getting out of the 7th grade

 

Yeah, pretty crazy to think about. So far, I'm at 27% here. (8.5 years out of 31.5). This was my first real job out of college and I'm still here. I had never thought of it that way before.

Let's add it up:
16% = The good life (i.e. childhood)
42% = Primary+Secondary school
15% = University
27% = Work

in the past 5 years I really have not done anything amazing at all....

i play with my kids, go to work, drive my race car here and there, gone through about 20 cars(and a bunch of $), got a Z06,

I need to set some real goals for the next 5 years. I would like to be an ASL interpretor which apparently is a 2 year degree but none of the schools are near me...
