1000 times faster than an s2000... meteors!
Keep your eyes to the sky - when not driving - as the Leonid meteor shower starts the Nov. 14 through the 21st. The peak is at 3 AM MST on Sunday, Nov. 18th. Could be a "storm" - more than a thousand an hour.
Just thought I'd point it out.

I'm going to go see them this weekend in the desert. I'm planning on driving out to Joshua Tree (in CA) on Sat. and check them out. I think the peak time to view them here in the Pacific Time Zone is between 2 a.m. and 4 a.m.
Definitely going to try to take some time lapse pics. This will be the first time I trie to use my camera in that way. I gotta go pick up some 400 speed film. I'm not sure if the 200 speed that I have in it now will work.
Unfortunately, I'm not taking the S2K out there. I rented an SUV so I wouldn't have to rough it. I'm just going to put the seats down and sleep in the back of the SUV. I've had my fill of tents and camping during my younger days.
