ARE U CRAZY !! 1080i Kills 720p, Just wait tell 1080p comes out. But 1080i is better if u ask me.

 

I have issues with many stations. Many, like CBS, broadcast in 1080i, but no shows are filmed with a HD camera! The shows look like DVD, but then they show the occasional CBS HDTV commercial and it is pristine.

I wish they'd actually FILM stuff in 1080i rather than 480p and upconvert it. PBS seems to air 1080i content consistently but that's it. I know the super bowl was in full HD resolution along with other sporting events but that's it. "Joey" was in 1080, so at least the trend with NBC is starting to change.
