Not that Restoration Hardware is a hardware store, but why would you expect a hardware store to carry lumber? You go to a lumber yard for that sort of thing. Home Depot and Lowes carry hardware and lumber both, but I wouldn't call either of them hardware stores.

Am I off topic enough?

he put 2007 as to elude to the fact that the date of 12-21-07 is coming up, which is in fact 5 years prior to 12-21-12. in the OP statement he also asks the question of "what are you going to do with your last five years" making the original name of the thread make sense.....

I'd start with the lumber, then begin asking where the terlets are. Either way, expose them as the knobs they are (pun intended).

Hmmmm I would say I'd definitely reconnect with the people who I've fallen out of touch with.

Frankly I'd take a lot more risks, probably even engage in some sort of criminal act to financially benefit myself so I can afford to do and buy a whole lot things I'd otherwise work a lot longer to get. I wouldn't physically hurt anyone in the process though. More like a white collar crime of some sort, maybe scam a huge corporation somehow.

What does that say about my character? I dunno. Seems like a real victimless crime to me since we'd all be perishing soon enough anyway. Plus I'd likely do some good things with the cash to give some hopeless people one final good run.
