Default 14 yr old killed @ 4:40am- need more patrolling?

The paper says he "got a call at 4:40am and said he would be right back". apparently whoever called shot him as he approached the car.....

Maybe he was heading out to do his paper route.

well...it sucks that he got killed, but I would think his parent(s) are to blame for not telling him to shut his phone off and stay in the house like most 14 year olds.

Of course the papers highlights every neighbor saying it was the police dept's fault for not patrolling more.

About 3 months ago, right down the street from this shooting is where a drunk guy got into a fight with a police officer at 3:30am, after driving the wrong way down a one way street with his lights out, then wrecked into a pile of cars, had a suspended license........ in the end the cop ended up shooting and killing him...

All of the relatives that they could find had a "POLICE BRUTALITY" get together..... apparently it is normal to get all hammered, wreck into shit, drive with your lights out, then fight police officers....

That appears to be the attitued going around. Its always someone elses problem or issue. It would be great if people started to take responsibiltiy for their own actions rather than blameing others. If that was the case the lawyers would not have the "Micky-D's made me fat" or the coffee was too hot law suits.

welp... when you are stupid and can't find anyone else to blame... see if the courts will oblige you.... and too many times, it seems that they will
