It's ridiculous how ahead the rest of the world is in terms of their mobile networks. Man, we can barely surf and places like Japan and Europe already have enough bandwidth to gripe about video conferencing. That phone looks cool, but even if we had the networks to support it, I don't think I'd pay over $1,000 for a phone.....crazy.

Umm. You do know that multiple carriers here now offer TV via your phone -- just like ... da da dum in Japan.

The reason they are more advanced is partly due to the fact that the US had cell infrastructure up first. Older technology in the infrastructure means more time to upgrade to the fancy bells and whistles.
