Hey all! Well, if anyone read the May issue of Car & Driver, they saw the write up in the "Up Front" column about the upcoming STi-tuned WRX. Finally coming to the States!

STi = Subaru Technica international

And ohhhhhhh boy am I droolin!' The WRX as it stands is a great car, but this......THIS is beautiful!

- Increased power (up to 276 hp. from WRX's 227)
- 17" wheels standard (probably in gold)
- 12.4" brake rotors (YYYYYYYYYES!!!)
- 6-speed manual gearbox (W@@H@@!!)
- Super sport suspension (Yeah, baby )

I reeeeeally hope that STi gives the royal treatment to the WRX wagon. I like the sedan, but I own the 2.5RS sedan now, and what I miss the most about my old '94 Acura Integra RS was the hatchback. I love wagons!

BRING........IT..........ON!

I will buy (if i can afford) either the STI or the Lancer...whichever comes first and goes like stink! they both look fine to me. I just like the AWD, room for kids and did I mention how quick they are!!!!

I hope they both show up with 300 real hp!

I saw a WRX the other day. That thing is ugly.
I will hold out for the EVO VII otherwise...keep the Honda.
But if the STi is a big seller(hopefully) it will further incourage the Mitsu people the bring the EVO over.

fingers crossed

Attractive it is not, but butt it does kick.

You can get the WRX in a wagon, which is why I wondered if STi would add its treatment to that car as well as the sedan. One can only hope.

I like the Mitsu too, but I think the Subie would be more useable and useful.
