The new VFR will have two MSRP's. $9,999. for the standard bike. $10,999 for the bike with the optional ABS. The front of the new VFR is starting to grow on me, the back... is ugly IMHO. I can see that aftermarket cans will improve the looks and a little cutting on the back fender will help clean up that back end. I did some minor fender surgery on my 99, and replaced the back light assembly. It made a world of difference.

Just curious. I don't know much about bikes, but my uncle owns a Honda motorcycle shop in Japan. He was going to send me a Honda NSR as a gift, until my Dad told him not to. This was about 10 years ago.

I understand that the NSR is a racing bike only and might be illegal in the states. Is this true??? Does Honda still make this bike??

The NSR is street legal in Japan, but the EPA doesn't like 2 strokes, so it's not technically allowed into the states for street use...but I have a friend w/ plates and an inspection sticker on his, so it's possible. It's very weak down low (makes the S2K feel like a torque monster), but is a blast, handles like nothing you can buy here, and feels real strong on the pipe!
