When you see one on the road, remember not to drive behind directly it.

Those loose parts are hard on your tires and windshield.

Dodge build quality is only slightly better than Ford's

I have owned 7 Fords (2 Mustang GTs, 2 T-Bird Turbo Coups, T-Bird SC, Taurus SHO, Explorer) before my S2000. All have been of high quality and extremely reliable. No major problems in any of them. Drove an Explorer (Boring as hell though) for over 3 years without ever seeing Ford service center. I hope my S2000 is at least equal in to my worst Ford and will be happy.

You should play the lotto...

I've been a Auto tech for, geez, fifteen years now. Some of it spent in the Ford Dealers, the rest with the independants. I have had experience with probably thousands of cars.

I own two Hondas and a Toyota.

Want to see all the tsb's and recalls on Fords?
http://www.alldata.com/recalls/
http://www.nhtsa.dot.gov/cars/problems/tsb...servicemmy1.cfm
How about the five stop sales on the new Escape?
At least four on the Focus.

SHO Taurus? Great Yamaha engine unfortunately almost everything bolted to it broke. Can you say multiple clutch failures and Fuel sender problems?

Explorer. Radiators, radius arm bushings, intake gaskets, headgaskets, ps pumps, balljoints, o2 sensors, 4.0sohc timing chain tensioners, RABS valves, valve cover gaskets...and fuel pumps.

Supercoupe. Can you say crankshaft failure, headgaskets...and fuel pumps

Turbocoupe. Oil leaking from just about everywhere, TFI modules...and fuel pumps.

Mustang. consistantly Ford's lowest quality product...straight from the Rouge.
The list is just too long...'99 Cobra anyone?

And if you still like Ford, take a long hard look at this site

Nothing is perfect, in fact, I believe the S2000 is Honda's lowest quality car but Hondas and Toyotas are a much better value than Ford.

I think the new version has lost some of its "Viper-ness", it's more refined but also more mainstream. Not as agressive as the current model. Looks better but less interesting so to speak.

I thought my 92 ZR-1 was junk; it could not compare in this regard to my 94 Viper RT/10. I owned the Viper for all of 1 month before dumping same.
