Since there is a wrecked S2000 with a good engine/trans/etc...... and it is only 2 hours from me...

I am debating about buying it to stick into storage...then..

Somehow build a Caterham....or similar type rocket..

1000lbs/240hp/6speeds....

I am just curious if anyone has any experiences. I don't have the $ right now, but can probably get the engine/trans etc... for about $7k which is cheaper than caterham charges for their ford 130hp engines.

anyone?
thanks...Scot

That definitely sounds sensational. I'd do it, if I had the resources. Caterhams are amazing.

That would definitely be a bullit!

I know a guy in LA who's dad just bought a Lotus Super 7, predessor of the Catheram...

boy those things kick butt... I'd love to take a Catheram R500 around Nurburgring someday.... can you imagine it ties the Porsche GT3 and Turbo at 7min 56sec?
