IMO the mayans probably died off just like any other great civilization, human greed and arrogance. The end of their calendar could have just been that it was unfinished?

Maybe they were talking about Azeroth? Even then, their time frame was off!

The reason the Mayan's calendar ends on Dec. 21st is because it is the beginning of the Winster Solstice. The year 2012 was probably chosen to end their calendar because whoever was making the calendar decided, "I'm not going to be alive up to then, so why keep going? I've already gone several hundred years into the future with this calendar, anyway."

Why is it so hard for people to believe that jesus walked the earth but they think that some mayans are telling the future?

People believe in aliens with NO proof at all but they think theres aliens?

people dont want to believe in god because then they would have to stop living a sinful life...
