Yes but, despite all their other front-drive cars, Chrysler chose rear-drive for the Viper. Try to imagine the Viper V-10 engine in a front-drive car!
I have to laugh when I see the NASCAR equivalents of the Taurus. Monte Carlo, and now the Intrepid. The front drives have mysteriously migrated rearward!
