28.....getting older or still young?
I'm 57, hit the gym hard most every day, try to eat right and take care of myself, and next month is our 30th wedding anniversary. How Mrs. Raptor has put up with me for so long is beyond my imagination. I'm not old, I enjoy life, and look forward to many, many more happy, productive years. I own my own environmental services firm, enjoy the hell out of what I do, feel I am doing something good for planet earth, and look forward to going to work every day.
So stop the friggin bitching about being 27 , 28, or whatever. You are a baby -- enjoy it!

I turn 29 in about three and 1/2 months, but I don't feel old. It is true that I can't party like I could when I was 21, but it is ok. The problem is sometimes I try and then my body is shut down for days! SIGH! Life is good though. I drive my S and SMILE!!!
The answer to your question is yes. You ARE getting older and you ARE still young. I turned 28 last month and I am having the time of my life. The only problem with 28 is you can't say "mid-20's" anymore, you are officially "late-20's" but that is like saying "Ferrari 355" instead of "Ferrari 355 Spyder", could be a lot worse.

turned 30 in May. Got married at the end of June. Obviously, both are "milestone" events.
Is 28 old? Not necessarily. It all depends on your outlook and perspective. I know 25 year old guys who are old. By that, I mean that they don't live enough. At the same time, I know some 50 and 60 year old people (most of which had the good fortune to retire early thanks to the 90's tech boom) that are way younger than me.
Plan for the future but live for today. If you do that, you'll remain young.
