I cant speak to this one, but I've been invited to 3 Microsoft surveys (all online) which ranged from 15 min to a little over one hour. For the longest one, they offered a free MS product from a pretty big list. The choices were sort of messed up - on the low end of the available options was MS Streets and Trips (~$20 retail after rebate). However, they also has MS Office XP Developer on the list ($600 retail at the time). So I picked that and sold it on ebay for ~$400. Best hour of my time ever

I just got an offer to come to a Honda future product evaluation in Philly. They pay $75. I'm not going though, so that's all I know.

Read the front page:

"Verification system: statistical study based on experience of 10 research affiliates. Guidelines developed in accordance with AHWA protocol. Income projections based on 20 hours a week spent participating in online focus groups earning average $72.38 per hour rate.
Not meant to guarantee results. Each participant's results may vary."

I think it's BS, look at the privacy policy and terms and conditions. Doesn't look right to me. While it IS normal to be compensated for time spent in focus groups, this has all the glitz of an infomercial. Cheezy at best.
