I know that there are a number of Canadiana that frequent this board so would like to ask if anyone there can tell me the best place to hire a 4x4 from.

We have a quote at the moment for 2 no. 4x4's (Ford Explorer size) including ski racks, for CAD 230 each for 8 days in mid March. Anyone know of anywhere that might be able to beat this price??

It seems pretty cheap to me already, but if there is money to be saved I am always up for it

We had good luck with Budget at the Vancouver airport. They had a good selection and upgraded us from piece of crap -- a Geo Metro or some such -- to a Pontiac Grand Am for $* for a week -- at their suggestion.

 

Sounds like a good price to me. Go for it.
