I'd donate blood myself, but every time i go in for a check up and they take blood from me I get light headed afterwards.

I am a big giant wuss with an irrational fear of large needles.

A buddie of mine in college donated plasma then went to a party that night and had some tequilla shots. He then passed out in the hallway of some random apartment building, was grabbed by the police and woke up in the drunk tank. Blew a .02 the next morning.

Moral of the story, if you give plasma and get to $20 and go straight to a bar, you can get really drunk off that $20.

 

It's not whole blood, just red blood cells. The rest is returned to your bloodstream.
