Default 8800 penny payback!

Much more funny and legal revenge than that I did the time I was towed!

Many cop cars showed up. What a waste of public resources!

I just wish he would stop calling it "pure" legal tender. So annoying, it legal tender, what is %50 legal tender?

I recall reading many years ago that quantities of pennies in excess of 25 are not, in fact, legal tender. It was a court ruling to prevent exactly this sort of stupidity.

(By the way, it's 50%, not %50.)

But its a tow truck driver, I think an exception should be made for this example ^^

this was my belief as well.....you, as a debtor can describe the method of payment.....No bills larger than 50.00...coins must be rolled e tc

just because a coin is considered a unit of legal tender does not mean it has to be accepted as such.

Perhaps it should be, and perhaps not.

I'm sure that the court ruling didn't mention this (or any) particular exception.

If the guy really paid in pennies, why was he giving his buddy cash change after he got his car back?
