that is a ****ed up situation.

thats why you would never give up your love for the car just because of a girl. like a car, a girl is replaceable.

Well, look on the bright side - you are now a free man, so go buy yourself a new '02 and be happy

Hang in there...had the same thing happen 3 years ago. Seriously, go see a counselor, stay away from depressing music, and avoid love story movies or even romantic comedies. Stay active! Go do something you have never done before. Go start a hobby that you've always wanted to do but just never have gotten around to starting. Talk to people. Breathe. You never know what the tide will bring.

I can relate, I've been in the same boat. PM me if you want to vent.

logically its best that she did it before you were married then it could have been REALLY messy. Emotionally it will hurt big time.

Here's an idea. Have yourself a breakup party. Get together with friends have a just have a blast. Make it a week long thing, don't stop to think! In reality its something to celebrate because a weight of possible BIG life problems has been lifted. Open up to trusted friends, dont bottle up your emotions.

Thank god I read this thread ! My girl just suggested that I save up my S2K fund and buy a house together. Make no mistake I've been with her for 8 years I doubt she'll take off, but then I told her I'm still young I'll never get a chance to drive an S2K until I'm 45 or when the kids are grown up so let me have some fun first wheeew... now I can justify the trade in that I'll be doing next month.
