Hang in there. Whilst it's dissapointing to be suddenly single (for some) I'd also be excited about the prospect of meeting a new woman (or women ).

Jeez that's bad news. Good advice to get an '02.
I hope it works out for you - I'm sure it will.

Excellent advice! Screw it! You don't have those obligations now so don't dwell on it. Buy yourself a new car and hang with your friends.

I left an engagement once - it's tough, but it's much better to do it now than have it happen after the marriage. I got over it differently than most suggestions you'll hear though - I took off on a camping trip, by myself (me and my mutt). Spent 2 days sitting around a fire at the beach, reading, praying, and generally getting some real ME time. I learned to enjoy being around myself and realized that I didn't need someone else to make my life complete.

If you can get out of this unscathed, you should be happy - If you can come away a better person - be exstatic! Personally, I know that I wouldn't be the same person I am today if I had spent time with friends, avoided grief, and partied a lot afer the break-up. My goal wan't to get over _her_ but to get over her type...
