I'm still in shock that this even happened!! She was a great singer and a positive role model for our younger genernation. I realize we all must go sometime, but she had a whole life ahead her. One day your here, the next day your gone. May she rest in peace.

It just leaves a bad taste in your mouth and a knot in your stomach when I see something like this. Why not no-talents like BSB or n'sync instead of Aaliyah someone who will actually have been around for more than 5 more years doing movies singing or whatever. I guess its true the good die young. And the no-talents keep on making CRAP!!!

ah - LEE - yah

I didn't realize until this weekend that she graduated high school with a 4.0 GPA. I always respect hard work and intelligence, not just talent. She really did have it all.

Having lost several of my own loved ones over the years, I know how her family and friends feel right now. My prayers go to her as well as all of the victims families.

I was a big fun too... and I am greatly saddened by the news ...
What a shame... and yeah.. the pilot shouldnt have taken off and the passangers shouldn't have insisted on the baggage.

Oh My GOD! Aaliyah died in a plane crash?

Whatever. Other people died in that incident...so sad that they are almost ignored because some crappy singer died on the same plane. She was a crappy actress too - I saw the Jet Li movie.

No flames.
