Well,

I'm actually quite relieved right now. I've finally gotten my notice of layoff from my company. I work in the airline industry and you know how that is. Anyways, I've packed my stuff up and I'm just waiting for another "number" friend of mine to get his stuff so we can leave. I received quite a nice severance package so it's not that bad.

I'm a single guy that still lives at home with his parents so it's not too bad. I just feel bad for the people with wives and kids. I've been awaiting this day for a few weeks now. I knew that I would be part of the layoff. Well, I'm going to take some time off to collect my thoughts and such. Then, I'll jump back into the job hunting scene. If anyone knows or has any connections for an electrical test engineer, I'm your man! I guess this will give me some time to put more efforts into my night clubbing promotion. Who knows, I might even switch careers.

I will have plenty of time to drive my car though. Thanks goodness we're having awesome weather still so I'll DEFINATELY be taking full advantage with my top down of course. Anyways, enough of my babbling, it's time for me to go kick back a few cold ones and let the partying begin!!!

Good for you! Great attitude! You just can't let crap like this get to you, you have got to keep your spirit up so when the new opportunity comes knocking you don't miss it.
No question, a high-stress situation, but you've got a great outlook.
I wish you the best of luck!

Yeah, I like your attitude man.... enough friends of mine are getting laid off and taking it badly (which is very understandable) that it's good to see an optimistic outlook once in a while!

Lots of luck in your job hunt.

Heyo TJ,

One of our electrical test engineers will be retiring at the end of the year. If you are still looking for some work around then give me a shout. Need another Stook owner here to counter the 3 vette owners I have to deal with. (They all have automatics and drive like sissies )

Matt
