Default adobe illustrator 10 mac version

i am trying to print a paper that is 8.5" wide and 17" high. And i am using illustrator 10 for the mac. Well i have the document setup with 8.5"x17" and then i did the same with the page setup using a custom 8.5"x17".
here is where i am having a problem, even though the page setup is at the right size that i need it, it is too low on the page, so half of it is missing and the other half is on the document page. Sorry if this sounds confusing.

I just need to know how to move the page setup box up so it fits within my document page. Right now it will only print half of my paper, since it is set to see only the lower half.

Sorry I tried to replicate your problem but couldn't. Or maybe I didn't understand you correctly.
It shows up correctly in your print preview window, but when you try to move the actual page position in the document it's off? Then you don't have the proper driver installed for your printer to support that page size. You can specify 8.5 x 17 but if your printer only supports 11x17 you will get that page placement. I'm guessing your printing off a roll fed Epson?
